From the African Big Five, the Wildebeest Migration and of course, the incredible birdlife – it truly is a nature lover’s dream. Birding will be busy with several transects across this vast savannah. On the morning of Day 3, we’ll hit the road as we travel north to the second largest freshwater lake in the world – Lake Victoria. On arrival, we’ll be doing some exceptionally birding. Africa’s largest lake is simply incredible and is teeming with birdlife, where the local riparian zone will be our major target.

Day 6, 7 & 8 – Lake Baringo & Lake Bogoria National Reserve (& departure to Nairobi)
Your time in Lake Baringo, will be very relaxing as you spend your time in truly one of the best birding locations this planet can offer. We’ll be walking around the scrubland and the cliffs surrounding the lake, and we’ll also be taking you on a boat ride onto the lake in search of waterbirds.
On the morning Day 8, our last day on tour, we’ll drive south to Lake Bogoria National Reserve. Lake Bogoria is a volcanic soda lake, where the hot springs are a local attraction. However, it’s also a local attraction to birdlife where they are found in huge quantities, especially the Lesser Flamingos, which can be found in their thousands. After we’ve had lunch, at the hot springs whilst enjoying the birds around us we’ll hit the road as we head back to Nairobi.
