These habitats boast a rich abundance of birdlife, alongside resident populations of hippos and impressively large Nile Crocodiles, with the largest recorded specimen measuring an astounding 18 feet 7 inches!

A visit here is undeniably rewarding and offers encounters with diverse avian species such as the Yellow-billed Stork, Saddle-billed Stork, Malachite Kingfisher, Pied Kingfisher, Grey Crowned Crane, Goliath Heron, White-fronted Black Chat, African Cuckoo-hawk, Bat Hawk, Scissor-tailed Kite, and numerous other captivating birds.
