There’s no beating around the bush, Kibale rightly so holds the title for the Primate Capital of the World’, but what people might not know is that it also holds an incredible amount of birdlife too! A birding tour to Kibale is a must! 

Kibale National Park is one of the last remaining places on earth to see endangered Chimpanzees. In fact, it has a staggering 1,450 individual chimpanzee population with 13 primate species overall. However, we haven’t even got to the one of the best parts yet – the park also holds an impressive bird list of 335 species thanks to the nearby Bogodi Wetland Sanctuary! It’s also one of the very best places in Africa to see both of the elusive and well sought-after Pitta (Green-breasted and African) species!
